Research Funding

One of our founding principles is to financially support pediatric cancer research. Of the National Cancer Institute’s budget, only 3.8% of research dollars are given to pediatric cancers. That 3.8% must then be divided among all the types and subtypes of childhood cancers. This is why we fight for #MoreThan4.

Since we began in late 2014 we have funded more than $130,000 in research with an additional $30,000 already committed for the Haystack Project in 2019. We hope to fund an additional $90,000 in research in 2019 so our total research funding for our first five years will be $250,000!
